AG9900 Modules now Available in Tape & Reel Packaging
Miniaturised Golden Block
SILVERTEL’s recently launched Golden Block miniaturised IEEE802.3af series, the AG9900-MTB and the low profile AG9900-LPB, now rise up to the next level. The Golden Block technology allows not only improved thermal coupling between the module and the carrier PCB but also enables fully automated assembling.

It has therefore been a logical step forward to offer tape and reel (T&R) packaging as an alternative to standard trays. The AG9900 line up will be the first to come in T&R, counting 400 pcs per reel for the AG9900-LPB and 250 pcs per reel for the AG9900-MTB.
The Golden Blocks will allow a different implementation of the previous “M” and “MT” (SMT pin-header) variants. MT and MTB include thermal protection on-board and comprise of 3.3V, 5V, 12V and 24V versions. The LPB variant, the smallest POE PD Module on the planet, will – at some point - supersede the previous -LP variant (DIL pin header with lowest profile of less than 9mm) and is available in 3.3V, 5V and 12V versions, again having on-board thermal protection.
