EC Motors

Equipped With a Permanent Magnet

EC motors belong to the brushless DC motors and are equipped with a permanent magnet. This enables them to achieve high efficiencies with lower power consumption. A further advantage is the high speed, which enables fast and precise positioning by means of an encoder. Brushless EC motors have low heat generation and are therefore particularly durable and almost maintenance-free. Due to their compact design, they can be easily integrated into existing applications. EC motors require electronic commutation for efficient operation. 

Depending on the application, the intelligent electronics can take over various control and regulation functions. These include infinitely variable speed control, pressure control and integrated monitoring of the motor temperature. EC motors combine energy efficiency and economy and are therefore ideal for commercial refrigerators and freezers.
